June 11, 2015 at 10:31 am #350220Sounds like a good idea. I know nothing about tile work so it should be interesting.

Moderatorscroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Pro Forum” it will open a list of the different forums
Every time I try to start a new thread, which is not often, I struggle to remember how to get there where it lists all the different forums. I even had to send Jim an email once asking how to start a new thread and where to go.
It just doesn’t click that that “pro forum” title at the bottom is what it is and where it is. There should be a more obvious way to pull up the forum listing or it be titled differently. Maybe just having it titled “Pro Forums” would make more sense to people what it is rather than Pro Forum. There’s a big distinction in my mind with just adding the S at the end.

You know what. I’ve never clicked on that alone. I think I was only clicking on the ones in its drop down menu not realizing the Pro Forum header itself brings one to the forums listing. Doh!

June 30, 2015 at 11:26 pm #361741I’ll be following this thread! I still have to tile my shower downstairs, and so far my tiling experience covers 1 kitchen floor and 2 bathroom floors, but nothing yet on a wall, so any advice and pics of other’s mistakes will be welcome!
July 1, 2015 at 7:43 am #361873@gomoto69 There was a link posted on the previous page for a new tile thread with tips and tricks. May be worth checking it out.

What a beautiful job @AndyG ! How long did it take to do a job like that? Do you work alone or have a crew?

Then there is this mess. Obviously done by a slapdash fly by nighter. I have no idea how these guys figure that what they do looks good.

First time I’ve seen that technique!

July 1, 2015 at 5:51 pm #362252Allow me to climb up onto my soapbox here for a minute….can this thread Please get back to what its title says it is about…Flawed Tile Work? There is already another thread ( or several others ) to discuss quality work. This one was meant for substandard work only. Each has its own home and there is no reason for the other to infiltrate.
