That link is a great reference, it is awesome to see the breakdown of all the angles for doing a octagon roof like this. It definitely takes a lot of thinking to get it right and this would save a lot of time guessing what angles to use.

ProHere is a picture of another house a customer just sent me .He did it just by looking at my birdhouse .No plans .He is just waiting for the roof and base material .He did a great job !
Imitation is the highest form of flattery! That is really fun that a customer loved your product so much that he would want to make one like it.

My thoughts as well, but not bad for an amateur. Looks like he is going to have fun putting the base on though. At least he has a shop to do it in, but I hope that it isn’t in the basement.
