Probably a middle of the roader. If I see something that has an immediate great advantage I like to incorporate it as soon as possible, but I also believe that you must keep technology long enough for it to pay for itself. I hate to discard methods too quickly. I also put a lot of though into making changes so maybe I lean a little towards late adopter.
I try to stay on top of things as much as I can, when it comes to my trade. In my personal life, I could care less about trendy or cutting-edge things nowadays.
Mid to late adopter. I learned too many times earlier in life that you can waste a lot of money on being the first on the block with the latest gadget.
I think of my self as an early adopter eagerly sharing my newest tool, but after noticing everybody else already has it.. I find that late adopter is more accurate.
I guess the advantage of living in a relatively rural area is, I can be a late adopter of new tech (in general), but still appear to be cutting edge by comparison locally
