I found a dovetail jig at a yard sale yesterday for $5 and I was thinking a few weeks ago it would be nice to have one but I couldn’t justify store price for the limited amount I would be using it.
I believe its a Craftsman although its not marked as such(the model number is the same format as Craftsman model #’s).
Says it can do 1/4″ and 1/2″ dovetails in 3 styles. I have a 1/2″ dovetail bit but no guides for the router so I won’t be using it for a while. Any tips.

August 24, 2014 at 10:17 pm #177915Did you try their website to see if a manual for it can be downloaded for the instructions on how to use it?
August 24, 2014 at 10:21 pm #177917Dustin, I’ve got an older Craftsman one as well….I can’t help you with tips on how to use it as I haven’t used mine yet either.
But if you can PM or post the serial/model number I may have the manual downloaded for it.
I’ll e-mail it to ya’ if they are similar models.Lurking Hit and Run poster.

Prohttp://vintagemachinery.org is a great place to look for product manuals and whatnot if you are able to figure that out. It would be fun to see some pics and also helpful towards figuring out how you use it

I haven’t had a chance. I got quite a few toys that day and I haven’t got to play with this one yet. It’s still sitting on the bench where I dropped it when I got home.
