    Honolulu,, Hi.

Now that all the kitchens are done I’m into the window sill mode. They are Corian Solid Surface. I’ve got the first floor done and will start the second floor on Monday.

Looks like a easy job for once. Do you have to make the corian sills or are the ready for you to install?

Not a bad gig Dirty. The sill looks good.
Are you having to fit the Corian? I hate the way that stuff smells when cut or sanded.

@DirtyWhiteBoy, great example of how the OMT can be very handy on the job site. Like those things so much I have a couple of them, one for the shop and one that goes with me in the job site bag – just in case it is needed. 🙂

    Honolulu,, Hi.

Are you having to fit the Corian?

Yes I am, someone fabbed up the sills but the new windows are not even straight so there is scribing and trimming to be done.

Yes someone comes in back of me and caulks them in all nice. They must be undercut in because the drywall corner is not square.

You Corian sniffers are strange. I don’t mind the smell. Here are some shots of the job as I walked through, the same guys just a different place.

Nice that you have a system going. On big jobs it makes the work go much faster.

It’s now near the end of the job and the Big GC fed us lunch yesterday. It was very good and not a lot of work was done after lunch.

Man, I made the mistake to look at that picture: felt some huge hunger pangs and hit the fridge.
