I see they sell a lot of diagnostic tools at my local O’reilys
Dirty Thank you for the pic. I have not been to O’Reilly’s in some time but will head over to check out the Bosch diagnostic stuff. More tools.

February 15, 2016 at 6:50 am #472346So I saw this shop not long ago that fixes cars.
I know on their automotive tool site they have some very impressive diagnostic tools.

No O’Reilys up here and I have yet to any Bosch diagnostic tools in any of the auto part stores here, even at the local Jobbers. Only Bosch parts. 🙁

Great post! Now I know if I ever for some unknown reason end up there I can’t get the Bosch diagnostic tools.

Yeah Dirty has cost me money plenty of times 🙂 LOL. But the tools have been worth it. I did not know Bosch had come out with a consumer line of automotive diagnostic tools. Since I am heading toward an all Bosch shop might as well go diagnostic tools too.

I’m still alive. Just been working like crazy! Hopefully shortly I’ll be able to make it back to the forum. Glad to see a bunch of guys from early on still here.

Fayetteville, NCFebruary 16, 2016 at 10:51 pm #473324I didn’t know this before i joined bethepro but bosch has a huge car division. One of their more famous things is their windshield wipers. apparently they work pretty well.
The automotive arm of the company is the largest division I believe. Far bigger than appliances or tools. I’d be willing to bet that every single one of our vehicles is equipped with Bosch sensors. I’d also be willing to bet that the air bags are Mostly Bosch. They hold a highly regarded patent on air bag technology.

Yea when you take the measurement for the door and lite, the opening size make sure you put a bubble stick on the 2 sides and get the number at the shortest point.

February 17, 2016 at 7:07 am #473500I let the glass guys install that style Dirty. I get real nervous handling the big pieces of glass. First shower door I ever installed I broke a drill bit and ran the drill through the glass. Lesson was learned at a early age!

I’m sorry, when I put the level on one side of the tile wall, the hing side it was out of plumb a fat ¼” . The glass is made to fit but there is some roof for adjustment in the track on the wall. I shoved the glass all the way in the track and only had a 1/8″ between them.
