I would go nuts living down there in the summer. It’s like a wall of water. Yuck!

When in boot camp there in FL it rained a torrent downpour at almost exactly 3pm every day for 3 weeks straight. The humidity was intense after growing up in a virtually humid free North Dakota.

Spent 5 years in Orlando. First year was great. Went all over Fla. Lake Ocachobie (SP), Bell glades , up north to cattle and horse areas. Hiking, air boats, canoes, eating snake for the first time. After that it was all downhill for me. Awesome place for the right people

    Honolulu,, Hi.

As far as heat goes, I think Fla is hotter than HI…at least it felt that way when I was in Ft. Lauderdale. What do you say, @DirtyWhiteBoy?

Also, I ordered a coffee and they didn’t know what a “double-double” was in FLA. Is that a Canadian thing?

It does get a lot hotter in south Fla. I spent 24 years in the Fort Liquordale, Hollywood area.
As far as double-double, I have no idea???

Who puts sugar in their coffee? Give me an Espresso any day.

I don’t know if Florida is hotter than Hawaii but one thing I do know, is that Florid’s humidity levels are way off the chart for me.

That’s how most people here drink their coffee, with cream and sugar. LoL, that’s how I learned to drink it, I grew up a tea drinker in Asia and never had coffee until as an adult in Canada. Most coffee is crap that I can’t drink it black; that’s the sign of true quality coffee!

I like mine black with sugar. I can’t do dairy in warm beverages. Maybe some sort of lactose intolerance. On the other hand, I have seen some people put so much in theirs that I have asked why they just didn’t order a cup of warm sweet milk.
