Bosch has a corded (220V) blower/cleaner in UK. It probably won’t take much effort to turn this into a 18V tool.

    BOSCH GBL800E

But then there is a new 36V Leaf Blower released in Germany.
Which one I am eyeballing. 420 Euro as a bare tool.
It was available on their site but then they took it back down.
At that time i was thinking about to start a own thread about it.

I’d really like to see Bosch come out with an 18v blower also, at this point it’s not something worth me adding a second line of batteries and chargers.

Interesting blower. With all my 18V batteries this would make sense.

Are they selling this tool at the HD or the local tool store?

No NAINA, if you get one it would need to be purchased in Europe and shipped to the US.

I don’t imagine the 220V corded blower would work here unless the motor can be easily rewired like on larger air compressors, etc. There is really no reason other than OCD to need a Bosch corded blower rather than any other brand.

Cordless on the other hand, the major benefit is using your existing battery system and not adding extra complication. I don’t use any 36V tools, and unfortunately that 18V Bosch blower I posted appears to use completely different batteries rather than the ones we have here. It’s not just a matter of finding someone who will ship it here, like the 18V vac from S. Korea.

I only mentioned the blower from UK as an example that it might don’t take much effort from Bosch to turn this unit into a 18V cordless blower.
looks really similar to dewalts blower.
