We just built a 1000 square foot metal roof covered stage/deck basically a party spot with no walls. We have the standard SubFlooring installed instead of deck boards on it and need to paint them, no idea what to use. I was thinking of sanding first so its a smoother dance floor. Any help or ideas to complete this are appreciated.

We do roofing so maybe someone wants to trade who knows, small world..

I would think a good exterior polyurethane would give it a nice finish. A good sanding and cleaning first would add to the quality of the finish. It is important to seal the areas between the boards and edges so they cannot absorb moisture there and while it may be to late, the underside should be sealed well also to prevent moisture from entering the material from the underside.

Absolutely ! Depending on ground clearance and air circulation ( or rather lack of) any paint finish will peel
