Starting to build a 36 x90 pantry. Wood is cherry. It will be finished natural. With a semi gloss lacquer.
Starting with planning the cherry lumber.

Getting the panel end glued up. And then sanded in the wide belt sander.
I’m cheating and went down to the cabinet shop.

Cherry! Beautiful to work with. Gets better looking with age too. This ought to be a nice build. Keep us updated.

That is going to be a purdy pantry. I know my wife would love one like that, she always complained about the one we use to have, the one we have now is a bit better, but don’t think it is anything close to what you are building.

Got the cabinet box built. Sorry didn’t think about taking pics of it going together. Got the face glued together. And now shooting the faces on the adjustable shelves.

Thanks. Close. The plywood I’m using is birch.
Got the face sanded and on the box. Started getting the styles and rails run through the shapers.

Yea they are 30 plus year old Weavers. I don’t recall ever having to replace anything on them other than cutters.
Got the doors put together and sanded this afternoon.

I have never heard of Weaver shapers before. Sounds like a good machine if you never replaced anything on it. Old machines seem to last for ever.

Bored the holes for the adjustable shelves.
Doors run through the big sander. Ready for the edge profile to be run. Then all the fun sanding before finish.

That turned out really nice. When you started the tread, I was thinking more of a closet style pantry if that makes sense. Love how the colors match up with what is already in the house. Nice job.
