We all like Bosch tools, that’s why we are on the forum. We use them every day. If you have a suggestion for an improvement to a tool or a change to make the tool work better then post it here. Hopefully Bosch R&D or marketing will monitor this thread and incorporate our suggestions into future tool releases.

This vacuum really needs a set of attachments that can be inserted in the nozzle to enhance its usefulness. Attachments should include:
a crevice tool
an upholstery tool
a 12-18″ flexible hose to extend the reachAutomotive Pro

I’m really disappointed in the dust collection of the 4100 table saw. It goes Everywhere even with a good shop vac hooked up. My biggest request as far as an improvement would be for better dust collection on that particular saw.
OH, and stop selling the SLOW chargers rather than the rapid version.

InstagramDecember 16, 2015 at 12:57 pm #442453Better dust collection on the TS is a great suggestion. Even with my big DC hooked up it’s marginal.
A router insert and jigsaw insert for that TS would be pretty nice too
USB port on all battery chargers.

ProAllow me to second the bring NAINA tools to NA, starting with the particularly easy ones like the OFN rails, clamps etc. stuff that doesn’t even take power.

even when its not build in, in the chargers or batteries.
an adapter would be cool for the 18V batteries like the 12V battery holster"If you're going to do something, do it right the first time"

Palm Springs, CADecember 16, 2015 at 2:31 pm #442486I may be proven wrong here but I have had a really hard time finding the molded plastic inserts for specific tools in L-boxxes. The hardware store that carries l-boxxes here does not carry them and I would love to see them sold in stores or through the bosch website

Milwaukee, WIDecember 16, 2015 at 4:07 pm #442497I know I’ve said this many many times now, but on IDH182 if you turn on the LED with the dedicated light on/off button, make the damn thing stays on for 10 minutes or until it’s turned off again. As it is, the LED stays on for 8 seconds, same as turned on by the trigger, which makes it pointless to have a dedicated on/off button don’t you think?
December 16, 2015 at 5:19 pm #442530I am with many others
First focus on bringing more tools to the US
Second work on catching up with the cordless tools you dont make yetNow for what the thread is actually for
Cordless grinder — Narrower barrel for easier grip, quick change blade guard, tool less arbor nut
Cordless metal saw — Lboxx and or insert set
18v batteries — Better glue on stickers covering charge meter
corded Jigsaws — blowers and lights on all models
Brute cases for 12″ recip blades
Corded OMT — lights might be nice
cordless OMT – tool less blade change
Miter saws — zero clearance inserts, laser cut guides,
PB180 – higher volumn level
Longer cords on all your corded tools “like the OMT”
just off the top of my head
December 16, 2015 at 6:15 pm #442558My pb180 will blast you out of the room .
Im happy with the rest of my Bosch.December 16, 2015 at 6:18 pm #442559yellaD

I like it! Good observations, esp the mitre saw laser guides, blowers on jiggys, and longer cords. All should be put into production.

ProBring more of the NAINA tools to the US, especially the 12V tools and the track system (The rails, the adapters, the other corded saws that ride on the rail since the GKT 55 and 12V circ aren’t the only ones)
Speaking of NAINA: Release delays suck especially when its over a year+ for something like the brushless 12V impact
Brushless and 7-1/4 version of a CCS180 that has a footplate that supports the track system and also has a dust extraction port/dust deflector
NAINA miter saw features like the laser module would be nice too
Vibration control version of the 5″ sanders (The ROS65 rocks, sometimes I want to have something lighter and smaller but with the same dampening)
Include some of the dust extraction accessories as a standard with kits
Table saws should have a rubber or cloth shroud wrapping the housing for the blade/motor to the top of the table so the dust port in the back can effectively be used with a dust extractor. I already did my own modifications and for a non 100% seal the amount of improvement was huge ( http://bethepro.com/forums/topic/4100-dust-control-modifications/#post-439358 )

Jesus, YES! I’m a Makita guy, and when I pick up my partner’s Bosch I frequently forget that I have to pull the chuck forward to get the pit to engage.

It’s nearly impossible to find them. Many times I’ll buy the version of a tool that I can get locally…and it doesn’t include the insert. Then I’m left to try and find one (and fail doing so.)

Having acquired quite a few Bosch drills/drivers/impacts this year I am in full agreement.

so far just the EC models come with the mountable bit holders right?!
would be definitely great if they would include one for each tool.
the impactor’s have a tiny bit storageAttachments:

December 17, 2015 at 4:03 am #442743The bit storage would be easy and appreciated. Slow chargers should be a thing of the past in my opinion.
