ProThe light is new, its the 18V light from Europe that they’ve had for a while. It’d be nice to see the L-Boxx lights too but seeing this seems like Bosch is finally bringing over more of the rest of world lineup.
August 3, 2016 at 11:48 pm #551623I think the base is the same as the old Colt. The base is clear now but it looks like the old square base.
You can see the new Colt (GKF125) on this page on thte header:
https://www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/routers-23415-c/It has a round base.
bosch changed out the subbase from black to clear somehow.
the logos have a different location too.
yeah the base is still square and I am not comparing this one to the new colt (GKF125).
just noticing the difference to the other colt. and they maybe added this kit to their website.EDIT: forgot to upload a picture

ProI have to assume that Bosch is going to sell the new Colt and old Colt alongside but with a clear base on the old Colt with other minor changes to unify the line then.

Strange that they still don’t have a product page for the GKF125, That has been discussed for at least a year. Upping the HP to 1.25 and added LED.

It should if it comes out in the US. But it’s sometimes an item like that that is not widely avaioable here.

That, and drills. I am no authority, but my Bosch drill, and the router are pleasures to use compared with the few I have experience with.

ProIt’d be great if it worked with the existing Colt plunge base.

ModeratorI’m not following it. I wanted an 8mm collet option. Sadly disappointed. 🙁
