I haven’t seen any of the Bosch guns on shelves in quite a while….but today while at Menards, I saw a large cart with a number of them on it. There isn’t a display at this point, so I don’t know if they are either clearing them out or bringing them back.

I don’t think they were a very big hit, so many of them were pulled from stores. I have the 23ga pinner and it’s perfect. No complaints whatsoever…the 18ga nailer I tried and returned because of depth of drive issues.

Either they are old product or perhaps newly designed product because I concur with your assessment Jon. The 23 gauge pinner is a great tool. The 18 gauge was not so great driving brads into hardwood.

They were on the list way back but were pulled. There was also a Bosch air compressor but they all disappointed shortly before the lasers and grinders were added as I recall. They were on my wishlist, the air compressor especially. .

The model numbers are the same, so these are the originals. Menards website does Not show them as clearance items.

I haven’t seen them here north of the border. We also don’t have Menard’s.

This has to be old stock imo. Can’t find nailers anywhere on their NA website or the Bosch production tools website that carries a host of air tools.

The link on the prize page for the 18V nailer also only leads to a “Product not found”.

I wonder if it is old stock found in a warehouse that they shipped to a store to clearance out? My guess is that it is old stock found in the back of a warehouse.

Oh yeah, they had a small pallet of the guns at the newer store out in St Hubert outils Berger when I went out to the Bosch tour, they were at 159. Forgot if it was the 18 or 16 gauge.

I think @Doobie was right about old stock.

if it is old stock they don’t usually send those to stores to clear, they usually sell them to stock liquidators that specialize in NOS items.

Outils Berger is not an average big box store, they are just tools and accessories, so selling them their is probably not the same.

Meynards is also showing the compressor as being available

Ooo… I like the looks of that vertical twin tank..

If you go to that link, you can buy the guns too, look at the bottom of the page

I hope these get offered more widely. I’m hoping to pick up that 3 Gal compressor and a couple nailers later this fall.

Im trying to decide between replacing the trigger valve on my 15ga bostich for the third time, and just getting a new one. Being able to do it in Bosch might make my mind for me.

It must be a local thing to where you are, I don’t know if I have ever seen any of that stuff on the shelf locally here North of the border. Keep an eye on the stuff maybe it will be going on clearance and you can get a great price!

Is it just me, or is the 18v nailer also gone? Nowhere on Bosch’s site. Did they discontinue it?

Interesting, we’ll see if more models becomes available, then we can say if it’s just NOS or a comeback.
