    I was so curious as to how the on-board DC got it’s power, I took a closer look yesterday and found the terminals on the left side in what appears to be cooling vents. Very clever, I too want the DC attachment

    That’s right…I always wanted to upload some pictures but I always forgot.

    The extractor is only to be used with the GBH18V-26. We do not know if any other “extractors” are coming for other models at this time.

    So we have no extractor for the 36v rh328vc 36-k man that’s a bummer. I personally think 36v will use it more @madman_us anything in Germany

    @Austin

    The “GBH18V-26K24” comes with 2x 6.3 core batteries and the new BC1880 fast charger.
    The “GBH18V-26K” comes with 2x 6.0 batteries and the new BC1880 fast charger.
    The “GBH18V-26” is the bare tool version.

    It’s not similar to the new GBH18V-26 dust extractor (DC feature) but it can be hooked up to the semi or auto dust extractors.

    Yes it does, And the BC1880 fast charger. Pretty nice blow mold case too, Kinda surprised they didn’t put it in an L-box2 as it’s about the same size as one.

    Wish I had gotten the Core batteries – mine came with the 5.0’s I think it was.

    It does look like that we have two threads for the same tool. Well this thread is the NA model and in the other thread it’s the european model with interchangeable chuck.

    Anyhow, you are right Ebrahem the dust extractor gets its power thru those 3 prongs.

    I wonder how easily crap can get in there and keep it from getting a good connection for the dust extractor

    @masterbosch

    great home for the bulldog. I assume a lboxx2 ?!
    As soon as the inserts are available in Germany, I will get us some.
    They do have one for the lboxx2 for the tool itself or an insert for tool and dust extractor for an lboxx3. Guess I’ll just order both for us 😛

    Nice job on the cutting out the foam Ibrahim, is that the Bosch pick and pluck foam with the little squares, or is it more kaisan foam

    That’s what I’ll get next. It should come in handy when you don’t have the right SDS-plus bit on hand but when you only can find a regular hammer drill bit in your toolbox or bit organizer.

    That is a great idea and I sure hope Bosch decides to bring that feature to N/A.

    So the seller shipped yesterday and it arrived today. Not bad. A few pictures are attached to show it in comparison to the RHH181.

    Something I noticed immediately: When holding the tool out in front of you with your finger(s) on the trigger as if you were ready to use it, it feels LIGHTER than the RHH181, which is actually around 2 pounds lighter. I even told my wife to close her eyes and hold one in each hand down at her side. Asked her which was heavier, she said the GBH (the new one). Told her to hold them out as if she were going to drill something and she immediately said ‘now the other one (RHH) feels heavier’. So the positioning of the trigger so that it’s toward the top of the tool rather than half way down actually makes it less nose-heavy, which makes total sense. So good job, Bosch!

    I was also pretty happy that it fits in the DeWalt Tstak drawers.

    Looking forward to see the comparison.

    Thanks
