Dear Bosch, we love your brute case for jig or 6″ recip blades. We would love to see a model that will hold blades up to the 12″ length.

    Thanks for your consideration

I did send it to Bosch, I also posted it under the “talk to our sponsors” forum. As bosch is not only one of our sponsors but the owner of these boards they read these as well. This also offers the chance for others to agree for the want and need for one of these. This should increase the interest in making it over just one guy.

I have a couple of the Jigsaw cases. They would be great if they were longer for recip blades.

Or maybe they could incorporate some extra storage into the L-Boxxes for blades/bits

I understand what you’re trying to do but I think you should have gone a step further into the ‘Bosch Power Tools Customer Service sub-forum’ as a way to notify them, But now you could simply tag them, or tag bethepro to see if Jim would get your question/comments out to be heard by the right department. I don’t believe Bosch reads each and every one of these posts on this site, You may have better luck with a ‘real’ notification to them

    Agreed.

Bosch does make at least a few different sizes of their brute cases (they have larger ones for the impact sockets), so a different size isn’t an impossibility.
@crotalusco Dabbs is referring to this:

    http://bethepro.com/forums/topic/important-how-to-post-on-bosch-power-tools-customer-service/

So we can tag them with @boschtoolsservice and see what they have to say!

Those Bosch Brute cases look really similar to the Milwaukee Shockwave cases.

Interesting approach to getting something new. I like the Brute cases as well, and think they could be a well received addition. I’m thinking if Bosch put a little thought into it, the L-Boxx Mini’s would be nice for blade storage if they were set up right, then they could be put with the tool perhaps in the same box? But still keep things organized?

Sven, L-boxx mini, now you’re talking. Even better idea!

I winder if they are long enough for recip blades?

The ability to hold the longer blades would be a big plus.

Should be good for the shorter blades but no 12″.

I like the Bosch Brute Cases. They are compact.

I am not a pro. But I play one at home.

I am just here for l-boxx porn.

I was looking at them again and the Bosch Brute looks a little narrower than the Milwaukee case.

What would be really nice is if they sold the inserts separately so you could configure them to your liking.

This reminds me of talk we had going about how it could be nice to completely customize what you paid for in a set of bits. That way you could really get what you want and use and arrange it how you want it.

Too bad they don’t sell bits like they do nails, by the pound and pick the insert you need.
