I think it was just the style. I’m thinkin the firehose pants could be good.

The firehose pants have slash pockets too but have loops on each side for a hammer or tape. I haven’t tried the Blacklader pants yet but the Duluth Firehose Flex are the most comfortable work pants I have.

    What is a slash pocket?

The traditional pockets up on the hip that have a “slash” opening to the pocket inside the pants rather than the button/velcro/snap closure cargo pockets on the exterior of the pants.

    Duluth

F*#k Duluth they’re not even in the running.

I hope they hold up. I just got my first pair today! My carharts suck. Just not fitting right and I blow out the crotches in 6 months.

I typically leave the hammer on my belt so that shouldn’t be an issue.

    lol okay good to know

Sounds like some of the Duluth Firehose options would be good for comparison to Blaklader and Bjornklader after all
