is the blaklader hoodie more along the lines of the wind proof fleece thats now being made.. its more dense and lighter weight per say than the really loose pile fleece that was the most common 10 years ago

Thanks for more of them Kyle.

I’m really on the fence having not been able to see them near me without driving over an hour away which I have no reason otherwise to go in that direction.

Its fairely lightweight as i recall when i put it on in store. I was testing the sizing out and it felt nice, and extremely lightweight, nearly like camping gear.

I have really liked mine! It’s very durable and styling to the point that I had a hard time getting materials on it. One thing is the large ended up feeling a little small, oddly that would mean a xl for me for the first time if I wanted it more comfy.

Could be my food baby also ; )

Sounds like I’s be XXL then. Haven’t worn L since my twenties.

I like the suspenders @masterbosch. Can’t say I’ve seen them on the Blaklader site though. Before my first pair of Blaklader pants, I considered suspenders because my tool belt weighed my pants down…since starting to wear the pants, I don’t think I have a need for it anymore.

Yeah same here @jpunto07 I belt cuts my stomach when I do flooring or get on my knees so that’s why I wanna give try to suspenders. I’m sure it’s gonna be more comfy. And if you wear tool belt even digs into you stomach more.

oh trust me, i love suspenders they just work so much better than belts. Just be prepared to take some ribbing for being an old man lol

I’d like to say congrats all around, but….I asked Blaklader here in Canada why they didn’t carry Blaklader suspenders a few months ago. I was told they had some and found them to be lousy and didn’t want to carry them here in Canada. I opted for a couple pairs or Occidentals instead. Hope they work out for you.

It is a hammer holder for the pants . Wonder if it digs into your side leg overtime .

    Always willing to learn .
