Now or never on moving walls…do we need to come over there?

Uh yes please lol that would be very much appreciated!!

I demoed the rest of the sheet rock up to the ceiling. And now I am debating if I should replace the window next, or run my new dedicated circuit for the bathroom and install the fan/light/heater combo. I am trying to leave the toilet and sink in as long as possible so we can still use them.

I haven’t done any more work to the bathroom. But I did by the vanity/sink today.

Well that’s better than nothing. lol. I know how easy it is to get sidetracked. Stinks when you have to work for a living.

I figured if I started buying the new stuff it will help me get my butt in gear and not get to side tracked.

That is one fancy unit there. That style seems to be popular right now. I see it in a lot of just finished apartments.

I’m not lol my wife picked out. I just have to pay for it and put it in and smile and say yes boss.

And no tile Boss is picking that out too. We went and looked at a few different places but have not picked one yet.

Oh no wonder it’s so fancy. That bowl on top just isn’t my cup of tea.

I find them hard to wash my hands in. The faucet always seems to short on them.

So the bathroom remodel has taken entirely too long. after doing the demo I found realized I did have to move a wall to make it square, whomever framed it before me sort of leaned it back so the top of the sheet rock near the ceiling was about an 1 1/2″ from the studs. In doing so it changed the rough clearance for the toilet so I had to return the toilet and my wife is now trying to find a 10.5″ clearance toilet that she likes. But I did start to install the tile, It is slow going mainly because I check and recheck before cutting, laying etc. I don’t want to mess up on my first job. Here are a couple pictures of the tile so far.

Looking good Tony. Glad to see you back. Nothing wrong with going slow, do it right the first time and be done.

Some things came up in between. We had to repair our dryer do some landscaping and yard clean up. Me and my dad had to pull of my bathroom to do some stuff at my sisters. I am eager to get it done
