There was a a thread in another forum about bidets and if you would put one in your house, there was even suggestions about installing urinals. What’s your thoughts.

Me and my dad always joked about having a urinal in bathroom.

    Always willing to learn .

I don’t feel the need to have ether a bidet or a urinal in my bath.

My aim is decent enough. Wife hasn’t been mad at me in a while.

Do you think that is clean water that splashes out?

Would never entertain the thought of having either one.

Can you imagine what the next buyer of the home would think walking into their prospective new bathroom and seeing a urinal? Big red flag to me…immediate reno.

You better have some powerful ventilation if you plan on putting in a urinal

European and Spanish bathrooms in homes often include a bidet, but then their bathrooms are larger than a typical US bathroom.

I would have a urinal before a bidet. Maybe if i win the lottery and build a bathroom the current size of my living room. Otherwise it just wont fit

I would put a urinal in if I had the space . A closet might be a good spot for one 🙂

I think a garage is a good spot for a urinal with auto flush the don’t smell as bad, I was in a garage once and the owner had a big funnel and a hose going out in to the ground. As for the bidet I think I would put on in. Do you think you are cleaner using dry paper to wipe, or do you think water cleans better?

Opening the window doesn’t work for you like it does me?

But if it was yours I’m sure you would keep it clean and smelling nice.

Of course he would! Just pack it full of urinal cakes and you should be good to go!

A hotel I stayed at in Prague had a bidet. I would totally put one in my house. I actually kind of want one sometimes. It sure as hell beats the “cleaning peanut butter out of a shag carpet” experience I have some times.
