The price of the tan pants is certainly appealing right now, but they don’t have my size. Otherwise I’d love to compare them to my blakladers. (these – http://www.blaklader.com/us/products/products/pants/craftsmen/16301320-brawny-work-pants/antique-khaki-2800/ )

They did get here and I tried em out today. The knee pads ride up a lot higher on these pants. I got the shants. Clam diggers. The hammer loop is on the wrong side (left) and there is no good spot to hook my tape.

Sounds like you need to run them by a sewing shop and have them make a few modifications to the pants. Should be a bunch of shops out by Pearl.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

Yup I used them again today and I need to be a good 2 to 4 inches shorter for the knee pads to work well.

Yeah the sewing shop will fix you up. I use the ones here all the time to make mods on my clothes.

    Honolulu,, Hi.

Well after using these pants, the shants less than 5 times it is clear that the knee pads are subpar at best. It’s a good thing I bought the red backs, these shants will need them. The OME pads are already worn flat. I saw on their website they have other better pads. I don’t know why they don’t sent out good ones the pants??

So you’ll order the new ones. Marketing strategy. Keep the initial price low, then they get an additional sale with the upgrade.

Well I have the new pads and they feel like better pads. I do hope they will not go flat as fast. After I put them to the grind I’ll post up the verdict.

Hopefully that design will keep their shape longer and not go flat. Knee pads are like gloves, they wear out quick and are classified as a consumable item.

Yes I like the RedBack pads but this thread is about the ARMED WORKWARE! Pants, and the RedBack don’t fit in the Armed pants.
