Just called a supllier here. Apparently the sheet goods are solid strand woven, and not veneer core. Waiting to hear back on pricing and sizes.

    What’s the sheet sizes .

They never called me back >:o

Maybe first thing tomorrow you will get call back .

    Always willing to learn .

    Finally heard back on this.

I can get pre finished 4×8 sheets of 3/4 inch material. Solid strand woven stock, not a veneer product.

Anyone want to take a stab at the price?

What? That’s just insane! Bamboo is cool, but it’s certainly not worth 8-10x the price of other hardwood plys put there.

Yea I would think some 11 ply birch or maple would look just fine.

We use to use 1/2 bamboo plywood a lot for tent floors when I work in China.

Probably full of formaldehyde I guess

    #286587

I had no idea that was so expensive. I can see why it is not common.

Who knows what it is full of.

    #286640

Yikes…that is expensive. Makes sense I suppose since the widths are pretty narrow and it takes lots of them to build a sheet.
