    And the roof is done, and its all braced up on the inside

    Nice job makes that house look even bigger

    It does and the kick outs every other window break up the front as well.

    Is that in the master bedroom?

    I bet only the end joist is. By adding a few plywood gussets, that can be made very strong without the cantilever. Still looks wrong with no post though.

    They are cantilevered 14′ in and about 3′ out.

    We had busy day! The GC wanted us to put skirt roof on a house that another framer did, so the roofer can do it while he’s there. A hour after we start work there was car accident. Back to our house we got the roof on the last kick out, but GC wanted more after the roofer was done.

    We had busy day! The GC wanted us to put skirt roof on a house that another framer did, so the roofer can do it while he’s there. A hour after we start work there was car accident. Back to our house we got the roof on the last kick out, but GC wanted more after the roofer was done.

    Geeze sounds like running back and forth , hopefully it was not that far

    Here the soffit is typically vinyl or aluminum, and done with the siding. The higher end ones may get wood, but that is not too often.

    Yup same here it’s usually aluminum , and done by the siding guys. That’s here in Quebec Montreal
