Got the walls done, and started some ceiling joists.

Glad to see I’m not the only one dealing with the snow framing.

I can’t stand all the wasted time cleaning snow and ice off of the floor just St build walls.

Atleast you get a little break on the ceiling, but snow on the roof is a bummer too.

It’s hard to believe when it was settled by the french and brits they thought it was a good place to colonize.

Between the snow and ice in winter and the black flies and mosquitoes in summer, I think maybe alcohol was involved in their decision to colonize. lol

Wow, I missed a day or so of this thread and a house appeared! LOL you have been taking advantage of the mild weather, for sure. Really nice, straight work.

Not used to seeing that much stick framing on a simple house.

Tomorrow we are ready for fascia, got the rest of the filled in today. Yes all the hips and vallys are dead straight.

Not used to seeing that much stick framing on a simple house.

It’s easier for only two put up then trusses.

I disagree. You get a crane for an hour and two guys would get those all set.

Here the truss yard sends them out with a crane truck and sets them on the top plate. Also the engineers stamp is what they like here also.
