Nice picture, slow and steady is the way to go. While it sucks when things take long, at least you are not rushing through it.

I think I’m just getting antsy to do the interior work.
Depending on the budget, the homeowners may proceed with a very impressive crafstman style trim package throughout the house…it’s the kind of job I’ve been anticipating for a few years.
All of this though has been a fantastic experience; with the the issues that come up daily, I learn something different.
Renovations are never straight forward and require some out of the box thinking…and that’s been my biggest stumbling block here. Thankfully I’ve been receiving the right amount of direction and advice from my boss lately.

But I can’t wait to finish this place up.
We may even get to build a new deck for them in the spring/summer.

    Finally!
Got some progress on this project.
Lots of hold ups due to some engineering work arounds and some late material selections.
Insulation and vapor barrier was complete on Monday, and drywall should be fully hung before the end of the week.
Our guys should be going in to start the tile prep in the shower this week and hopefully we can get the paint going before the end of next week.

    More updates.
Drywall/mud and tape are complete, and the first coat of primer is on (not pictured).
Due to budget and time constraints the trim package was scaled WAY back and will consist of 3 1/2″ flat stock base /case.
The tile and hardwood will remain and the exterior trim is going to be 4″ Smart Side.
The shower base will be done tomorrow and trim starts Thursday.

Nothing wrong with flat stock. and smart side for the outside.

    The house is looking good.

So, there has been a ton of progress on this, but I’ve not updated because I was hoping to just submit the finished photos.
    But it’s STILL NOT DONE.
So, here’s a few pics of where it sits now.

Never mind… Apparently I can’t upload photos right now.
    Maybe later.

I really like what you did with the shower. The hanging heads are great looking. Never been in a shower that had them. Are they individually operable? I’m guessing both are on the same line though.

The shower is interesting. I have never seen that style of shower head. Kind of like standing in the rain.

    #341287

@asevereid wow looks great, thanks for the update. Like the trim work and color choices.
