No 😀
We’ve just had to place it in the corner of that room.
The old bathroom is between the two openings for Pocket doors.
We really need to get that terlit downstairs asap.Lurking Hit and Run poster.

Hahaha, I didn’t even notice where the toilet was sitting at first look. It would give the neighbors a good view of you sitting on the toilet if it was left there lol. At least if you needed to, you could open the sliding door to let some fresh air in!

January 11, 2015 at 3:27 am #251857
…Well, today my inexperience was showing.
We were setting trusses and I followed the 2 ft o/c layout on the truss factory plan. Big mistake.
You see, we’ve got those six skylights that need to be installed with a tray/box around them on the interior ceiling.
And those skylights all have to be evenly spaced on the ceiling for the trim to work out proper…so I made a big waste of time boo boo today that was thankfully caught by my boss on a well timed site visit.
….pulled the nails and some temporary lateral bracing after I got the layout proper and set most of the trusses back in place just before the end of the day.
So…I’ll pay better attention to ALL of my drawings from now on because the shop drawings are NOT always right. …
.

… Yeah…and the stupid thing is I had a talk with my boss about the trusses last week.
But when I started pulling the layout for them this morning I completely forgot.
Won’t happen again…next time it could be for a whole house and not some small addition. That’s a sign of a professional attitude.
He admits and accepts ‘I goofed’.
He gives credit where credit is due – in this case, the boss.
He tells others not just how he erred but also what to look out for to help train others (US!).
Shows how easy it is to hear something in detail and it not sink in.I’d bet he even apologized.

I’ll continue to update as we go…should be getting into multi trades in the house this week.
Need to pick up the pace because Christmas and a couple of small projects set this one back a bit.Lurking Hit and Run poster.

January 24, 2015 at 12:14 am #259388@asevereid yea hows that Beam doin??? You’re letting your thread go stale.
January 24, 2015 at 9:12 pm #259949should be laying carpet by now 🙂
January 24, 2015 at 9:47 pm #259967Sorry guys, there just hasn’t been a great deal of progress on this. I was really hoping we’d be almost complete with subs and ready for drywall by now (at least).
There has been a few dilemmas stemming from mistakes , and waiting for approval for framing changes from the homeowner and the city.
All the interior framing is nearly complete (there’s one more opening to demo and frame), and the plumber has started to rough in.
We’ll be off site soon enough and hand it over to the subs until they are done.
Not many pics that show progress, but here’s a few anyways.Lurking Hit and Run poster.

Thanks, but I had help from the boss and Joe as well.
And we both know it pales in comparison to the work you’ve been posting 😀
But thank you, I appreciate it.Lurking Hit and Run poster.
