Do You Care about Power Transfer

Hey race fans, how important are tires to the whole equation?  It’s hard to hook up without good tires.  We’ve all experienced times where we wish our tires were transferring a little more of the engine’s power to the road.  But what about your power tool?  What about the interface between the tool and the accessory – that’s power transfer, too.  It matters whether your blade fits tight in you multi-tool or whether your three jaw chuck is grabbing that twist drill bit.  Pay attention to how well your bit fits in the chuck.  SDS Plus, SDS Max, T Shank and OIS are all Bosch designations for interfaces – basically power transmission connectors.  The next time you pick up a power tool, think about the interface.  Is it the best?

Power Transfer optimzing PowerGrip shank

Bosch BlueGranite Turbo bits offer a PowerGrip shank with tabs to enhance an aggressive grip in the chuck. That’s what I’m talkin’ about.

Glass and tile success, steady but firm

glass and tile drillingDrilling through ceramic tile, glass tile and mirrors is a time-consuming hassle. But there are times when it’s got to be done. I used to do this kind of drilling using a simple carbide-tipped bit, but they don’t hold up and frankly, don’t cut quickly or precisely. I now use Bosch glass and tile bits. Take one out of the package and you’ll notice the beefy head and bit sharpness.

Quality Means Success in Diamond Blades

Cutting concrete is a tough job highlighted by bone-chilling cold in the winter, leather-skin inducing heat in the summer, plus rain, wind, snow, sleet and anything else good Mother Nature would like to deliver on a Tuesday afternoon in Terre Haute. So consider your tools carefully when doing cement cutting or grinding work. You’re investing a lot of sweat and grit in a harsh environment, sometimes for hours at a time. So make it count. Quality concrete blades mean the difference between a mediocre job and getting things done on time and on budget. At critical jobsites like roads or commercial building construction, every cut is a reflection on your experience and professionalism. Bosch diamond blades offer the highest concentration of premium diamonds. The greater number of diamonds translates into added durability out at the jobsite, and saves time and money. But don’t just take my word for it – try the new segmented, turbo or continuous rim diamond blades from Bosch on your next job. They last up to five times longer than the blades I used to use. If you don’t get a price-to-performance benefit in the Bosch blade, I’ll send you a free blade of your choice. Let me know how it’s going
